I recently had the joy of shooting wedding photography at Cooling Castle Barn. This gorgeous couple, N & T, chose this venue for its picturesque location and stunning backdrops for their special day.

Having a gorgeous back-up for the ceremony in case of weather is an absolute must in this country. This venue has a fantastic back-up in case mother nature decides she really should have been consulted on the location.

Located in the picturesque garden county of Kent, England, this venue also boasts gorgeous rooms for bridal or groom prep. You can relax knowing there’s no last minute rush to get to the ceremony.

This was a fantastic place for my natural approach to wedding photography, everywhere I looked the backdrops were beautiful, and the space was tailor made for weddings. It was a truly fantastic place to celebrate the couple’s love for each other and capture those memories for years to come.

Probably the most standout moment for me was the confetti shot. For a split second I thought I had been transported into a realm where air was colours and I couldn’t have been happier as a photographer. This is why I always tell my couples, however much confetti you think is enough, triple it!

As with many weddings, it all comes to a close at the dance floor. And what a location for it! The converted barn adorned with countless fairy lights makes a stunning stage for your first dance.
